New technology in BIODEGRADATION changes the rules of the game

Many years have been invested to develop an additive that is affordable and improves the biodegradation of plastic articles at rates never seen before, a period that the same industry has called a game changer or a baseline in the world of moldable articles.

In most of the tests that have been applied for more than half a decade on plastics, no organization has seen anything close to the results that are obtained using the biodegradable additive technology produced by BioSphere.

The tests that were carried out using the methods: ASTM D5511, D5526-12, D5338 and D6691, by Eden Research Laboratory, show that the products in which the BioSphere additive is included in their manufacture are biodegradable in landfill conditions, landfill and marine environments; aerobically or anaerobically by the action of microorganisms in a period of 1 to 5 years.
